We refer to the Company’s announcement made on 26 August 2019 (“Announcement”).
The Board of Directors of MESB Berhad wishes to announce that during the case management at the High Court of Kuala Lumpur today, the Court has directed the Company to file its defence on or before 19 September 2019 and a further case management has been fixed on 17 October 2019. On the same day, the Company has been served with an Amended Statement of Claim dated 3 September 2019 whereby the Plaintiff has amended its Statement of Claim dated 16 August 2019, however, the Claims (as defined in the Announcement) remain unchanged.
The Board of Directors is of the view that the Company has reasonable grounds to defend the Claims.
The Company will make further announcement on any material development arising from the above matter as and when necessary.
